Q: "Where are you from?"

 

A: "Born in Anchorage, Alaska, raised in Oregon, 

have lived all over the country, currently enjoying Sunny Southern California." 

 

Q: "How long have you been into music?"

 

A: "Mom's a choral singer, Dad plays saxophone and piano, they got me my first acoustic guitar in 

third grade, an electric in the 90's, played my first open mic in 2001. Been in Love with good music as long as I can remember.."

 

Q:"Where have you performed?"

 

A: "To date, I've played hundreds of shows. I've sang and played with two, three and four piece bands from park benches, living rooms, balconies, cafe's, coffeehouses, mall stores, small bars, radio shows, tourist spots, bridge opening ceremonies, farmers markets, big bars, hospitals, amphitheatres, summer festivals, music festivals and community television stages.." 

 

Q: "What inspires your music?"

 

A: "OH boy, here goes... (deep breath).. Love, Nature, Beauty, Peace, Light, Passion, Sadness, Joy, Existence, God, Good, Fear, Evil, Wisdom, Humanity, Suffering, Redemption, Art, Faith, Earth, Space, Music, Love, Nature....

Did I mention Love??"

 

Q: "What are your goals as a music making man on this earth?"

 

A: "My Dream is to follow the musical legends that have gone before me, 

by making the songs and rhythms that move people to tears and dancing; 

that give people a soundtrack to their lives, something to tap their toes to; 

a connection to the divine and unanswerable, to feel their heartbeats along with the sound of life; 

by singing for as many people as possible, for as long as I'm able to."

 

Q:"Lastly, where can we find your music?"

 

A: "I've just released my first E.P, a mellow three song called "Denali Kennedy- 3 from the Heart", 

it's available at shows. I'm currently booking concerts in the LA area for 2017, 

and building my new trio for the mission.."
